I grew up knowing them as Breakfast, Lunch & dinner. At work they always called it Lunch hour (even though it was usually more than an hour).

Anyway, now I live alone & sometimes I don't even make my evening meal until between 2-4am.....it's definitely NOT BREAKFAST.....& the food is definitely what I would normally eat for dinner....but it's definitely NOT the time of day when most people even are eating...but usually sleeping.

I just call it eating no matter when or what.....so it doesn't matter.
