After years of battling for a diagnosis, I've just been told that I have Borderline personality disorder. I had a assessment prior to my diagnosis privately, and cmht just said return to Mind and a volunteer befriender!! Now I have at last a diagnosis can my psychiatrist tell my local cmht to appoint a cpn? I've been counclled under Mind for seven years now and they couldn't continue due to funding, hence my request for second opinion. There is a pattern that when I stopped having support after a month or so I go downhill.
