hmmmm I haven't heard of trauma causing cataracts. I was told by one doctor that vitamin deficiency, sun damage and GENETICS are the main contributing factors. But he isn't my eye doc now either.

They have been watching mine for a few years and in my case, I know that genetics is a major cause because my father and older sister both had the surgery!
