I like to think I'm relatively healthy (albeit overweight) but man jogging/running makes you realise just how out of shape you are. I'll give it another go soon, since I'm a few lbs lighter. I'm biking more, interval style (1 mintes) on the hardest setting, so hopefully that'll sorta train me up.


Totally agree. Kinda wish I didn't make myself so much of a Billy Nomates, because it's hard to get that sorta social, almost extraverted life back again. x_x At least it is for me. xD
Yes, I'm talking about 5 km. That's the shortest race I know of. I wanted to do a 3.4 mile leg in a 55-mile relay race at the end of April with some friends, but at the rate I'm going I don't think there's any way I can be at that distance by then. When I was in my 30s I was in good jogging shape and did an 8k race. Can't remember my time, but it was fun.
