Hi Bubbles,
I can see where you are coming from. As this group is called, coping with emotions, I tend to cry a lot too and suddenly. It is not fun at all. I, of course, do not know you or your family, but I think that your parents should be okay knowing you are seeing a doctor about something that is bothering you. If and when you go see a doctor, it might be a helpful thing.
I can relate to the not watching tv anymore and zoning out. I feel like doing something that you enjoy would help you with trying to subside the crying and emotions. But you are not in the wrong with feeling this way. And being scared of having your parents find out is normal in my book. I have a similar situation where I cannot go to my mom for help most of the time because I feel she judges me. Anywho that is a work in progress. But consider letting your parents know how you feel and seeing a doctor. Try to find some ways to cope. We are all here for you.
