I noticed a lot of posts on this board about how people feel numb. In this Ted Talk, Brene Brown, gives a great explanation for why we numb our emotions. It's this effort to fight feeling vulnerable. But her research and study of countless stories from the "whole-hearted" shows that we need to embrace our vulnerability in order to live a more meaningful life.
