So, lately I have been going to bed pretty early and then sleeping for like 10 hours. That's broken sleep too. My body always wants me to wake after 8 hours when I feel pretty good, but I go back to sleep because it's too early in the morning. This morning I did that 2 or 3 times and had a nightmare every single time. I'll spare details so as not to trigger anyone.

Anyway...the first time I wake up I seem to feel fine. If I go back to sleep again and again though, I will feel very angry, overtired, and start yelling at myself for waking up so late and not at least an hour earlier because I would have felt better and started my day rather than still lying in bed. Then I just feel like sleeping more and don't want to get out of bed at all.

Does anybody have any opinions or perhaps can relate to this? Are these maybe typical effects of oversleeping?
