Ummm, we actually have a whole nice "About Us" section on the site that you can click on at the bottom of any page on the site. We worked very hard to create this section of information to help people understand what we're about, and how to send stuff to us for consideration. It also includes how to submit an editorial submission to the editorial team for consideration.

Everything published on the site is vetted by a team of people. We do, however, like to share a wide range of viewpoints, because everybody's voice is important and should be heard (not just those with credentials after their name).
