Set a timer for 15 mins. Its amazing how much you can do in such a short time. Like ...

Wash a sink full of dishes, sweep the floor and wipe the counters down.

Take a laundry basket and walk thru the house and toss in anything that doesnt belong in that room.

Depending on your sons age , If hes a toddler he can pitch in, play a game of putting toys in a basket. If hes older then he can be responsible for more.

Dont look at cleaning everything at once that's terrifying ,, but a week of doing the timer trick , it is amazing how things move along.

Having the timer is a mental thing, You know its going to go off, it reminds you don't have to start and not stop until its clean.

Small amounts of time can make a huge difference. Small nibbles instead of huge bites.
