I'm another person with multiple psych admissions, including a couple of 3-month stays, one of which was in a state hospital. Even people in the state hospital were regular people, most of whom wouldn't hurt anyone other than themselves. I've also been in a crisis stabilization house several times and in day treatment.

It's been several years since the last time I was hospitalized. There is hope. There is a huge chance you will stabilize. There are so many more treatment options available now than when alot of us had multiple admissions, so HAVE HOPE.

I also want to add that I've had over twenty non-psych admissions and I don't consider the psych admissions any differently than the non-psych.
