Oh yes, I def def go along with that, starving is self harm. It's not common that we, as the sufferer, realise we are hurting ourselves in this way. It all gets very caught up with the emotional issues. It's a very long painful death, but once it's got a real hold, death could easily be where it's heading. I'm not saying any of this to scare anybody, because I DO understand. It always remains though, that in the end the absolute control we worked towards acquiring, is the very thing that prevents us recovering. We all need support from each other to carry on our fight. It doesn't matter what ED we have, whether it be anorexia, bulimia or EDNOS, they cause untold pain, damage and isolation. HUGS. XXXXXX
