Hi Darvula. Ive had them for years. Suffered agoraphobia which lasted a few months. Its horrible when you sit looking out the window desperately wanting to be outside and feel free. My panic attacks now are situational, like going to social family events, dentist, flying and sometimes driving.
Keep going to your GP and therapy. Through time they will get easier to manage.I know some people who had real bad panic attacks that seemed to just disappear overnight.
Building your confidence through therapy is amazing and it does work. Good luck and i hope you have a full recovery.
