I'm really afraid to ask this because I don't know what answers I get or getting judged, but here it goes.

I won't have kids for a few years, so I have time to think about this, but I'd like some advice. Pregnancy may not be an option for me, so I am considering adoption. I know that children with special needs requires a special kind of person to raise, but I believe I can be that special person. This is something I've only been thinking about recently. I'm no way ready to be a mom right this second, but I'm wondering if anyone here has experience teaching or raising those with special needs, or if there is a place I can go to get my questions answered.
