Death is always tough whether pet or family member and in this case you lost your dog to an absolutely horrible unpredictable thing. I know you blame yourself for this but honestly, there is no way you could have know that it was going to happen. You are not to blame. I really don't know what else to say, but I really hope you find a way to move past this. I'm really sorry you lost your best friend.
