If your doc says "tough *****", it's time for a doctor who will listen to you! Unless you have serious addiction issues, I don't know why she would do that. Let her know that you have tried to get through this drug-free, and it's just not working for you.

I would also expect her to go through the options with you, the pro's and con's of the various drugs. Good luck, I hope it goes well.
