There's a lot of different factors for being Bipolar. Your pdoc should examine a lot of the other factors and not single out only one. Not every Bipolar person always has 100% of the same symptoms.

She just seemed so shocked that I was uninterested in sex maybe it's because I'm in university, a time where everyone's having sex with everyone haha
