My neighbor is a landscaper and has a huge man-made pond in his backyard that attracts all manner of reptile (not my favorite) and amphibian. In the summer the bullfrogs start their mating calls. OMG! They are loud. He and I were talking one day and I mentioned having run into a small snake in my garage (yuck) and I had noticed several small dead ones in our back yard. I asked him if there were more snakes than usual this year. He said no more than usual; they are always whipping them up in yards around here when they are weed eating. (Not really what I wanted to hear. I truly hate snakes.) Then . . . he asked me what the snake in my garage looked like. Apparently he has one that leaves by his pond in his back yard that is about 6 ft. long. I DIDN'T need to know that!!
You should also see the creative dancing I do when I come face to face with an opossum in my garage. Rather humorous to see I'm guessing, but scared the heck out of me.
