I bet that you fight most positive coping methods just as much as I do too, huh? What if you give yourself a rule that for every hurt, you have to do something positive for yourself. It could be to work on making a box like jacq described, or to write down three positive affirmations in a notebook, or anything positive that you can come up with. We have to start being nice to ourselves because it won't mean anything for other people to be nice to us when we are being so mean to ourselves.
