So I met with my psych today (who already knows i have substance abuse problems) and I've been previously prescribed adderall for ADHD. It helps however I've had problems with abusing adderall in the past (I'm now taking it as directed, but the people in my life were worried that I'd go back to abusing it) so I asked my psych about other meds. He prescribed me Vyvanse. I was just wondering if it's a good decision to take it. Does Vyvanse have abuse potential and will it cause the same nasty side effects that adderall does?
