What draws you to wolves? I thought there was quite a bit of ranking and organizing in terms of who has the power generally determined by fights? With continual challenges of power...

More than anything, it's that we've both been misunderstood. I've been bullied for as long as I can remember, and I didn't even realize it until a few years ago. Wolves are affectionate, loving, faithful, honorable, and peaceful, but instead of this, the truth, they're seen as vicious, coldhearted, cruel, and bloodthirsty. Wolves don't like confrontation, yet they're hunted down.

About the ranking fights and such, that's about knowing what is right, or what you think or feel is right, for a group, your pack. If you feel that you could be a better leader, or if you have enough skill to be, then it's not uncommon to fight. It's pretty much an election, only instead of being political, you just fight. It's faster, anyway.

Now, I know this next part is going to sound weird. When I select my friends, I look for wolf-like qualities; not as in physical appearance (because so many people around here have fur), but in terms of their personality/ies, and how they feel. It's an interesting process, but it works pretty well, really. Me and my friends hardly, if ever, fight, and we understand each other really well. That's what it's like in a wolf pack.

As for how it affects my life, I haven't told anyone, really, but I think those who know me at least to a certain degree and that have enough insight can tell that I revere the wolf spiritually. But they've never said anything about it. Besides, most of those who know me that well are in fact my friends, so they don't care, or like it.

However, if I meet someone who says that they either hate wolves or that wolves are 'vicious', I have an immediate dislike or even hatred for them. This is because, as far as my understanding goes, that reflects to me that they are judgmental, stubborn, and won't listen. I remember less than a year ago, one of my classmates said just that, that 'wolves are vicious', and I didn't even care that the teacher was there, I kicked him, threatened him. Now, I wasn't about to beat him to a pulp, but I was certainly thinking it loudly. Yeah, I'm protective.

I have noticed little characteristics about myself that have either changed or been built upon. For example, running on my toes, snarling, whimpering, growling. My guess would be that's pretty normal, seeing as how people subconciously mimic their friends because they look up to them, and I mimic the wolf because I look up to it. But I'm not sure.

Also, I clearly differentiate between people and humans. People are generally good and do good things, even if it's only through the Ring of Gyges concept. Humans are bad and do bad things. However, there are exceptions, normally concerning deception and money, or both. Let me explain. Sometimes, someone will put on a front of being a good person (usually this is a business person of well-known status), but in actuality are keeping the money to themselves, letting the economy collapse in on itself just a little more and for a lot longer.

It's all very circumstantial, and I often have trouble with it, but I hope that those with more experience might understand a bit better than I do.
