Sometimes the most helpful thing is being able to share what's inside, and to be heard about it...
Also, everyone's therapy experience is different. When I first started, I felt like you. It was great to finally be able to say all these things and feel not so alone. It actually still feels that way. I think the difficulties in therapy come from when we know we need to change something, but either don't know how, or are terrified of the change (because even the best change can be scary if we don't know what to expect on the other side).

Thanks guys/gals. I hope this means I am living more "in the moment" than before. I still sometimes CAN get sad by certain things that happen around me, but I hope this is a good thing. I also feel scared by situations that could potentially challenge me in any way. Before therapy I would always just move aside and let whatever was happening to happen. Now, I am determined to make actions and I feel a bit scared about doing so, usually just when they are about to happen.
