Lucky for you, many things that are good for depression happen to also be great for your health in general. I'd actually suggest starting with "SNAP CLUB" as described there. It's very easy to do and I think it's a good first step on your healing journey. As soon as you feel it - the feeling that you are doing something yourself and you really have the power to get better, that in itself will help a lot.
