kirby777, We basically have the same dx's. I know what causes me to be impulsive and sometimes it is the antidepressant that I am put on. Sometimes I get AD induced hypomania and I also get a little impulsive. I have an ADHD dx but it has not been well documented nor well tested and I also have been impulsive in things and done things I wish I hadn't of. My best help was knowing how to spot my mood or urge before it happened so I could stop myself. My first indication that I was getting this way was anger. I don't normally get angry very often. Do you have triggers that have stemmed from your childhood? I know that I do and these triggers have pushed me to do things that I wouldn't have normally done.
