If you think you're in relationship denial, by all means talk to your TDR about it.
Relationship denial is not a mental health diagnosis. It's a pop psychology term used to talk about dating and relationships. It's sometimes considered part of codependency. It usually refers to someone who wants to be with a romantic partner so badly they ignore all the blazing red flags waving that say the relationship is not working or the partner is not a good match.
If that's happening to you in your divorce or with someone new, it could certainly lead to depressive feelings and it would be worth talking to your counseling doctor about.
Relationship denial is usually fairly obvious to everyone except the person who's experiencing it, so don't be surprised if your TDR already knows about the behaviors and feelings you're talking about. I wish you the best.
