Intra, sorry you had to go through this. I understand but for me it has been much longer than 3 months. There is no correct amount of time to grieve over our losses. It is very individualized and you could take all the time you need.

I too thought I'd never go back to therapy. But I need it. It helps me. I've learned not to open my heart to the therapist in a way so as to get attached to her so I don't get hurt. It sucks to leave this emotion out for me because it truly feels like I'm using someone (taking and taking and not giving anything back). But therapy is not a place for the therapist to get their emotional needs met. I pay them to do a job, and with their expertise, they help me keep living my life. The therapist is a tool I benefit from having in my life.
