I also once had a spiritual counselor convinced I was involved in extreme spiritual warfare. She believed this so strongly that when I admitted to being scarily close to sui she just said she would continue to pray for me. She never once advised me to go to the hospital, let alone a back to a psychiatrist.

Also, I have personally believed that I have been demon possessed while delusional. Once in my right mind, I knew that was just a lie.
