Psychotic Phil - I think that you have a lot in common with many people who have religious beliefs. Some may say that God saves us - others believe that our own wits save us. It's entirely up to you which you choose to believe.

I don't have the same perspective as you do about whether God saved you, but I fully support your right to have that make sense to you. The main thing I want to say about your post is that I don't think you should feel guilty about acknowledging or not acknowledging anything. If God really did save you, then you're acknowledging it right now and that's what matters.
