Thank you for your replies.I find it isn't just the sugary sweets but carbohydrates I crave and if I go too long without high carb foods I get irritable and low in moods.I have had success losing weight on the Atkins program but can't go the distance with it due to it being very low carb.Recently feel much better mood wise and will stick with it to try to achieve my goals.It is another low mood and more severe depression I dread as that sends me spiralling down onto chocolate and creme cakes.It is good to know others here understand.
