Does it sound like he is fishing for compliments?
Mine does that.. everytime he does something, like emptying the trash or the dishwasher, it is like as if he achieved something major.
I am thinking if I would comment out loud all the things I'm doing all day for everyone else, I would be talking all day..
Maybe you can tell him that he did a good job .. or just try to ignore what he says
