I don't know enough about what happens in therapy relationships when the child is a patient. I know that when my daughter who is 14 years old sees her therapist I do not get any information about what is going on in the session. It is kept private between her and her therapist. However if she is in immediate danger I think that changes. I wish I could find the paper that we signed when we got our daughter into therapy but it is gone now. As a parent, I would want to know if she was in danger so that I could help keep her safe.
