Number one, dont embarrass the person in front of anybody else.
What i would WANT to do, but this is probably the wrong thing to do, is set up a meeting talk to the person about the project? Or just catch them at a casual moment. And say how happy you are that the ideas you proposed at your evaluation are being put into action.
Or maybe mention it to your immediate supervisor and ask her if she was going to mention it at your next evaluation?
Like i say, probably the wrong things to do! But maybe these can be idea starters.
