I have never understood the point of facebook. I was on it for a short while a long time ago. I could not figure out what it was all about. But I openly admit I don't care about other people's children, politics, trips to spain,general thoughts, games etc.
as a general rule unless actually with that person where we talk etc.
And even then I often don't care - I just go along as politeness dictates.
I don't think they care about mine either.
