. Hello and a big warm WELCOME to Psych Central. I'm very tempted to say "you've found home", although it sounds so dramatic! It's home for me and has been for a few years. Oh YES, totally and absolutely know where you are with the life long weight issues, the "Limmits" slimming products when I was 12 etc. My family have been and are, compulsive eaters, therefore I thought everyone ate as much as we did, I thought everybody poured golden syrup all over breakfast cereals and on ice cream or whatever. I'm now 56 and have had severe eating disorders for more than 33 years. ~~. That's ALL of the eating disorders, anorexia, bulimia, binge/starve, slimming drugs, slimming clubs, compulsive eating and a life revolving around either getting food or avoiding food!!!! I've been hospitalised a number of times, three for depression and anorexia, then I gained a huge amount of weight and attempted suicide due to the "shame" of my weight. So yeah, I understand some of your important issues. It must be so frustrating having limited mobility, so many people can just get out and exercise, doesn't sound as though you can. Anyways, hope to see you around soon.
