The complete works of Plato was my first philosophy book. It was given to me from a very special friend that I lost. The greatest dialogue in that book, for me, is the Phaedrus. It's about friendship, love and rhetoric. What sex is to the body, speech is to the soul. The entire dialogue reads like lyrical poetry to me. It's all about improving the chaos within to harmonize your soul. What a lovely thing for a friend to give...
