The hospital I was in for so long last year is built the same way as you described. I had to go back as an outpatient rather frequently and it took me awhile to figure out where everything was! Once I tried to go back to the floor I was on to say hi to my nurses -- UFF DA. You would think after 5 weeks on the floor, I would know where it was! LOL

It's good you can maintain a sense of humor about it all.
