The Science of Why No One Agrees on the Color of This Dress | WIRED
This is useful (I just scanned it and am going back to read the whole thing now)...and it does say once it the photo is run thru photoshop that the dress may actually be blue and orange! 
ETA: But based on lolagrace's posting, not if the designer says it's blue and black, ha.
