Olanzapine is one of the atypical antipsychotics that is widely known to cause weight gain. You were not on it for too long so you should be able to lose this weight. It took a while to put this weight on and it may take a little longer for it to come off. I had success from med weight gain by totally changing my diet. It took a few months but it worked for me. I used to be on Seroquel and that one can be a weight issue as well.
