Well it depends on your age, im 18 and went inpatient twice. i was in the adolescent unit (im still in highschool) and there was a girl there who was having family issues and cps came. another girl was at a foster home that was abusive, she got discharged then hurt herself so she would come back (she didnt want to go back to her foster home) and from there cps took care of it and she was going to go to a group home or something. however, if you are an adult the situation may be totally different....
