I am sorry to hear this possum. I understand what you mean about liking your ASUS. I am brand loyal to Apple so I may be biased on this one as all of my technological devices are Apples. I'm currently on an Apple Mac. Which is admittedly a 2008/9 model but running quite well. I like the technical support system at Apple too. They can run software backup and things. I don't know what Apple's policy is where you are, but here in Australia if an appliance plays up it is replaced, free of charge, no question on when it was purchased, no asking of receipt, just simply replaced for free. We have had 2 wireless keyboards on our own main mac pc replaced; a wireless mouse; I've had my iphone charger replaced. I guess that may not sound very good for Apple because it sounds like I'm constantly replacing devices. I am not really. I've just been brand loyal to them since 2008. The pricing might not be that attractive as I am unsure of your pricing range; but I just thought I would let you know I have had good experience with Apple since 2008. I hope others have had the same (if you are Apple Brand Loyal)

[Footnote: I doubt they'd replace my whole Mac oneday ]
Thanks for this!
