A member of another community I belong to has passed away.

He was vibratn, fun, funny, had the biggest heart for people and animals--anyone in need. He posted at least daily and was just so full of life, telling about his day with vividness and humor and lots of !!!!!!

He needleponted, played the piano, gardened, was a cat lover and took in many strays and found homes for them. He had MS other health issues, diabetes, was a former flight attendant and after that became an RN. Although he qualified for Social Security disability he recently went out of state to recertify so he could accept a job as a school nurse and was to begin that job at summer camp tomorrow.

His partner was the love of his life and he always had kind and loving words for him. They had been together 12 years and were planning a summer wedding.

The community there is in shock and grieving, as I am. I have a visitor for the week who doesn't understand why losing an online community member could be so 'personal' so I feel like I can't be open with my own feelings.

He was a great and inspiring person. He encouraged everyone to "have a great day!! Make it count!!!!!!"

I'll miss him so much.
