poet501 look in your phone book there should be numbers to your local domestic violence agency. domestic violence agencies are through out the whole USA in major cities and small cities surrounding little towns. they turn no one away as long as you are over 18, if you are under 18 they will put you in touch with child protective services which also do not turn anyone who needs their help away. both organizations have refural processes that can get you into treatment with treatment providers that do not turn clients away. they have a special list off resources for those in unsafe situations and have had to leave their homes. both agencies also will send someone to you if you can not get to them, even if that means contacting the police for escort into unsafe situations to remove a victim from the unsafe situation. here is the national domestic violence number, they can give you information over the phone, text, emails and can send someone to you if you can not get somewhere safe to meet with someone. ...

short version it is illegal for these two agencies (domestic Violence and child protective services) to turn anyone in need of services away.
