I think it would be cool to be able to tag people in posts. Where you tag someone and that person would get a notification bringing them to the post. People could choose to opt out of it and you could make it that you can only tag people if you're friends and vice versa.

I've just totally ripped off some social networking sites that I dare not name, but still it'd be good.
