I was bullied for having curly hair. I was a 10 year old girl and the bully was a 15 year old boy. He called me "bush" because of my curly hair. He once had all the other boys on the bus chanting "bush" at me. The other pigs this kid was friends with even threatened sexual assault because of my curly hair. I started sitting right behind the bus driver hoping she would hear all this and do something......she did nothing, in fact, she'd sit there with a smile on her face while it was going on. It was a horrifying experience. My mom finally went outside and confronted the kid telling him she was going to beat the crud out of him if he didn't stop. The only thing that eventually got this kid to stop was his older brother yelled at him to shut up in front of all the other people on the bus. This kid and his friends were cowards for picking on a girl. Don't know where they are today, but I hope Karma caught up to them somehow. Nowadays this kid and his friends could be prosecuted as criminals for that kind of behavior. I wish my parents had called the police back then. At least bullying is treated more seriously now. If some kid and his friends ever terrorized my daughters like that, I'd have them in cuffs!
