I'm thinking about this topic lately. Real communication need listeners who are ready to listen to the other. It means forget about oneself and connect really with the other person. Try to see and understand what the other is telling you. That is, an active listener.
It seems to me that people with PD fail in being active listeners. That happens with normal people as well, though.
They are so self-focussed on their problems and they have so strict ways to percive the reality or the idea they have of how really has to be that they often loose what other people have to offer them, the real meaning of the message.
I think in the communication Era, we have the lowest capacity for communication ever.
Which are your thoughts?
