I have an LG phone, too, although it's older than yours. I found a link for your phone's user manual online at LG LG730 Support: Find Manuals & Warranty Info | LG USA. It will open as a PDF file.

The explanation about putting music on your phone and playing it starts on page 49.

I have to say, it's not all that well-written, but you can see if it makes sense.

There are music apps you can use, like Spotify, that let you listen to music without downloading it. Spotify has some good "white noise" type tracks.

You can also download a BBC app and listen to that.

You always have to worry about using data allowance if you use a music app. If you download songs, then there's battery life to worry about.

I hope you figure it out.

I have a friend who uses noise-cancelling headphones on airline flights and she really likes them. They used to be really expensive - don't know if they all still are.

Ear plugs would probably help. Sometimes you don't have to get rid of all the noise - just enough that your brain doesn't recognize the sounds for what they are and doesn't get triggered by them. That's how it is with me, anyway. I have problems with sensitivity to sounds.
Thanks for this!
