I'd just like to hear some feedback on people's journeys in finding the right medication for their depression.
I was "warned" by my doctor that it could be a long road, but to remain optimistic. It has been nearly a year now and I feel as if I've been shelling out money in exchange for headaches and essentially "placebos" that aren't right for me. I've now thrown my hands up and stopped taking everything, which I understand is most likely a terrible idea, but I'm exhausted mentally and exhausted at watching my paychecks go to waste with so many appointments and medications that seemingly do nothing.
So my question is, how long did it take for you guys to find the right medication to help you, so that you could in turn help yourself get better?
