I know how annoying coworkers can be. There is not much you can do about it, but talking about it at work does not seem to do more than swatting a swarm of bees.

Here is an idea. Write down all the employees on your team and write at least 5 hopefully 10 things they do that are good or outstanding. Then take that list to work and share when you have to do this team evaluation. If you find the best in somebody it is hard for them to not warm up a little bit.
