New prescriber (NP) accepted my ADHD dx from previous pdoc. Yeaaayyy!!

I took in the prescription bottle so she gave me no trouble.

This is such good news. I believe that she knew I was not seeking stimulants as I told her my symptoms and let her decide what to prescribe me. After she ok'd the previous prescription that was Adderall 7.5 IR, I asked her to lower the dosage and make it XR and she agreed. I told her that the 7.5 mg IR was too strong as it made me a little irritable and it lasted too short of time so she wrote a script for 5 mg Adderall XR. We will see if I need 5 mg IR for the rest of the evening. Since I am an older adult I only need a low dose.
