You probably were given and/or signed the cancellation policy at your first visit. Usually 24-48 hours is the standard, but I've heard people talk about being charged for missing visits if the T is expected to keep that spot reserved for only a particular client, but that's pretty unusual. Talk to your T about it. Should be able to produce the policy with something showing you signed that you had been informed of the policy in advance.
