Also I asked this young guy to see his ID & while he fidgeted with his wallet I took someone else's order, I then returned to the young gentlemen & asked, "did you find your ID?" he said I already checked it & took his drink order. The other bartender confirmed this but I have absolutely zero recollection. I have other similar frequent experiences of this that seem like more then just common forgetfulness. Does this sound like dissociative behavior to anyone who has been diagnosed? Thank you for your help.

does this sound like dissociative behavior...only you and your treatment providers can tell you that. short version this site doesnt allow us to make diagnosis of other peoples problems all we can tell you is what things were called with in our selves....
let me show you an example.....
with in me holding a glass and not feeling like Im holding a full glass is called multiple sclerosis.
with in my wife this same action is called a panic attack
with in a co worker of mine this same thing is called having too much to drink or too over stimulated by the odors of alcoholic beverages.
with in an older relative this same symtoms you posted is called menopause.
my point being we could all speculate on what this sounds like in you basedon what you posted and come up with millions upon millions of physical mental or normal things it "could" or "sounds" like but only your own treatment providers can tell you what it really is. making a diagnosis of yourself or others online can be very dangerous...
example the same symptoms you posted also mathc or sound like life threatening diseases of the brain or body. what if we all said yea sure this sounds like dissociation and it turns out to be cancer. you could possibly end up dead by relying on others with mental disorders to tell you what your own symptoms sound like.
if you think you have a dissociative problem then you need to contact a treatment provider and go through diagnostic evaluations. they are the only ones that can tell you what this is with in you without possibly placing your life in danger.
